Heart Graph offers a large list of workout types so that you can choose the best fit for what you&#8217;re doing (see the Other option when starting a new workout). You can also record resting heart rate, which can later be <a href=\"https:\/\/smokycatsoftware.co.uk\/pub\/compare-workout-stats-tutorial\/\">compared to other workout statistics<\/a> in the iOS app.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-659\" src=\"https:\/\/smokycatsoftware.co.uk\/pub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Watch_Summary.png\" alt=\"Watch_Summary\" width=\"578\" height=\"578\" srcset=\"https:\/\/smokycatsoftware.co.uk\/pub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Watch_Summary.png 578w, https:\/\/smokycatsoftware.co.uk\/pub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Watch_Summary-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/smokycatsoftware.co.uk\/pub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/Watch_Summary-300x300.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 578px) 100vw, 578px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A workout can be stopped at any point by pressing firmly on the screen and selecting the Stop button. Data will then be transferred to the iOS app, <a href=\"https:\/\/smokycatsoftware.co.uk\/pub\/review-workout-tutorial\/\">where it can be reviewed<\/a>, compared to other sessions and analysed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Resting heart rate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When starting a new session, you can select &#8220;Resting&#8221; to record the minimum heart rate attained during the session using the Apple Watch&#8217;s high-frequency heart rate sampling.
